I'm a 30-something year old artist based out of a small town in Tennessee. I’m a lover of Mondays, coffee, and simple living. I believe in kindness and grace. Nothing makes me happier than florals and pretty pastels.
ABOUT MY ART
While my creative hobbies began when I was small, I first began taking my art seriously with chalk lettering around 2016. This quickly led to a deep dive into hand lettering and illustration. I've been so lucky to have my art pop up in Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and Walmart!
Recently, I've fallen in love .. with the tiny, magic pieces of color called soft pastel. The most beautiful thing happens when pigment hits the paper. I'm able to create worlds from my childhood - and even places I've longed to escape into.
Dream worlds. Idyllic countrysides. Places from my childhood. Secret rose gardens. Babbling brooks. My grandmas poppy’s. Overgrown paths leading into wooded forests.
These are the places and things I want to share with you. These are the things that make me who I am - what lights me up inside. I hope you'll find yourself stepping into these worlds with me. It might be an adventure. It might be a respite, an escape from the world. Wherever you find yourself, I hope you'll feel at home.
FUN FACTS
I looove a good BBC show. Flowers are my love language. I could play for hours in the woods as a kid, and even now I find tangled forests beautiful. Baking always reminds me of my grandmothers - as well as flowers. I love cats, Gilmore girls, and coffee! One day I hope to travel to Paris to sit in a French cafe and eat an authentic French pastry!
